I enjoy working on problems that still need structure and products that still need to be made real. I like figuring out what should be built, shaping the experience and systems behind it, and staying close enough to the technology to actually ship it.

Prepared intensively for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, building first-hand experience in managing a vast syllabus, structured practice, and continuous revision. In the 2025 Prelims, I qualified CSAT and finished 6 marks below the GS Paper I cutoff. The experience and problems I encountered during preparation later became an important part of the thinking behind GaugeYourPrep.

Beyond work

There’s more to me than the products I build.

I like exploring places and wildlife, creating things, reading and learning, music and movement — and occasionally getting very competitive over a board game.

I explore

I love travelling, especially long road journeys that let me experience places along the way. I enjoy wildlife safaris and zoos, exploring new cities, and visiting old forts and temples — history, art, and architecture have always fascinated me. One of my favourite journeys was travelling by road from Kashmir to Kanyakumari — my husband drove, and I navigated. Someday, I’d love to take that curiosity around the world.

I create

Art has been part of my life since childhood — from drawing and painting competitions to exhibitions and creative initiatives. I still enjoy sketching, painting, writing, and occasionally cooking when inspiration strikes.

I read & learn

I enjoy books that leave me thinking. Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom, Animal Farm by George Orwell, and The Kalam Effect by P. M. Nair are among my favourites. I’m currently reading Up from Slavery by Booker T. Washington. I’m almost always learning something new — even if it’s just a new word.

I move & play

Dance and music have been part of my life since childhood — from Odissi and folk dance to a recent Kathak workshop. I enjoy yoga and badminton, and I’m always up for a good game or puzzle — Sudoku, carrom, cards, checkers, Connect 4, and the occasional round of Minesweeper.
